Hello all you dreamers out there!
It has been a long time ! I wanted to give an update on where we have been and what is going on up on the Misty Comet.
We have moved our jewelry manufacturing locally to Seattle, WA, USA! This decision was made for many reasons, but mostly because of the tariff turmoil in the US. It was a long process moving manufacturers and we basically had to start the manufacturing leg of the process over from the beginning. The silver lining is that because our jeweler we are working with is local, we get to be much more involved in the manufacturing process now!
It took a while figuring everything out, but after all this time I am happy to say we are preparing to launch Ophelia's Nightwing Collection !
The collection marks the return of our ever popular Nightwing Earrings, now with custom moon cut out studs!
We will also be introducing new pieces:
Mini Nightwing Earrings - a daintier version of our signature design !
Ophelia's Lunar Pendant Necklace - a modular pendant necklace featuring custom lunar phase cut-out beads with 3 removable pendant options: Ophelia, Nightwing or Mini Nightwing !
You will be able to purchase pendants independently, so you can purchase more than one pendant without needing to re-purchase the whole necklace.
All pieces from this collection are cast in our custom blend tarnish resistant sterling silver we developed with our jeweler. This special sterling blend is 7x more tarnish resistant than regular sterling, and has zero plating to worry about degrading or refinishing!
This blend also allows us to use the custom matte finish we are using for this collection. The matte finish allows you to see more detail from farther away, which is great for photos (and will make my job of taking stock photos much easier, too !!)
Speaking of stock photos-- we have finished samples in hand and are working on stock photos etc now, so we will be sharing the pre-order date once we have all our stock images edited and ready to go. Pricing will also be announced when the pre-order is announced. Stay tuned !
